nodig is.
aanwezig is.

AED (Automatische Externe Defibrillator)

situatie waarbij EHBO nodig is.

Clinic lifesaving swimming

A number of swimmers have had a clinic in lifesaving. These were very informative 75 minutes. What
we learnt is too much to mention, but we want to let you know some of what we learnt during this
clinic.
The pool staff and cleaning staff can all assist with the life-saving and have all had first-aid courses.
They are therefore the ones who will come to our rescue when needed. This is why they are also
walking around during MZ&PC’s training hours. If something is going on that you think requires first-
aid or life-saving, call the trainer present, but even better call the pool staff present.
Should an MZ&PC member help during a rescue action he/she is responsible for his/her action(s).
The pool staff is not responsible for those action(s).
During an incident the swimmers present should listen carefully to the trainer. If necessary, the
trainer will request that all swimmers leave the pool. It is also possible that the trainer in question
will give a swimmer an order to carry out. Such as, for example, getting the AED.

AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Then of course the question is where is the AED located? At the Geusseltbad, the AED can be found
in different rooms. Which room can be seen by an AED sign:

First Aid room

Near the competition pool is also the first aid room with several resources that might be needed in first aid.
With this information we hope to have informed you on the course of action during a situation
where first aid is needed.
